Notes

  • Michael Schumacher had all of his qualifying lap times deleted for blocking the track and impeding other drivers on their flying laps in Q3. Numerous drivers complained about the incident, including Fernando Alonso who was on a lap that was set to be quicker than Schumacher’s.
  • Giancarlo Fisichella had set a lap time of 1:14.396 in Q3, but had his three fastest laps in qualifying deleted for impeding David Coulthard in qualifying.
